The talk on Sunday was a bit depressing, because the author of Ecclesiastes paints this picture of life as “Meaningless! Meaningless!” It is like groundhog day, so it feels sometimes. There is nothing new to life, people find distractions in things, but it is transient, here for a short while then it disappears…futile, whatever, meh…. But it feels wrong! What is the answer? God has made us to feel this way so we might reach out to Him, nothing else will satisfy us, so if we want to find meaning and value in life we need God, we need Jesus and to find our meaning in Him.
