PLAN A VISIT
We'd love to welcome you to Stromlo this Sunday!
Each week we open the Bible, hear a talk, pray, sing, spend time in community, and hear stories from people of how Jesus has changed their lives.
We’re a community of ordinary, imperfect people who gather around the Bible’s message about Jesus. Our meetings are open to everyone — whether you’re full of questions, brand new to Christianity, finding your way back to church, or been a believer for as long as you remember.
Sunday Services
Morning Church: 9:30am – 11am
Location: Charles Weston School Hall, Coombs. Access via Woodberry Avenue, near corner of Toner Street.
During the school term, this service has a kids and youth program from 6 months to Year 9.
We currently have about 200 adults, kids and youth at Morning Church. We use other buildings within the school for our youth on Sundays, and multiple spaces for our Stromlo kids groups.
Night Church: 6pm – 7:30pm
Location: Weston Creek Uniting Church Building
Including Q&A after the sermon, this service is more informal than our morning congregation.
We have about 70 people at Night Church, mostly young workers and uni students, but also some older folks!
What about kids and youth?
Kids
We’re passionate about partnering with parents and carers in raising kids to follow Jesus! Each Sunday, babies up to year 6 gather for Stromlo Kids during our morning service. Find fun, safe, age-appropriate programs for kids where they can learn about Jesus, grow, make friends, and have a great time.
Kids sit with their parents for the first portion of the service, and head to their program during a 5 minute break.
We take child safety seriously and make sure all our staff and volunteers have had legal checks and safe ministry training.
Youth
We love seeing our teenagers grow in their knowledge and love of God together with the rest of our church family in our Sunday gatherings.
After the Bible reading during our morning service, our youth in years 7–9 head out with their peers to a Bible study that coincides with the sermon.
What to Expect
Stromlo is a casual environment, so you can wear whatever you are most comfortable with.
Morning Church
At morning church, you’re welcome to park either in the carpark at CWS, or in the surrounding streets.
Night Church
At night church, you’re welcome to either park at the Uniting Church or at Cooleman Court, whichever you prefer.
When heading into the buildings, look for our yellow sign.
As you walk into the venue, there will usually be a few friendly faces at the door who will say hello and let you know you’re in the right place!
When the service starts, feel free to sit anywhere you feel comfortable. There is no assigned seating.
During the meeting each week, we typically open the Bible, hear a 25-30 minute talk, pray, sing songs about Jesus, and hear stories from people of how Jesus has changed their lives.

If you don’t have a bible to read along, that’s completely fine! Feel free to just listen, or you can follow along using an online Bible (like this one!). We use the NIV translation of the Bible.
Our meetings usually go for around 90 minutes. At the end of the meeting we’ll enjoy some tea and coffee and snacks together.
We’d love for you to stick around and meet some people. People will usually hang around and chat with each other for a little while after the meeting.
The simple answer is that we’re all about Jesus.
